Woolton Luxury Landscaping Project

We were recently commissioned to deliver one of our most ambitious projects yet: a 16-week luxury landscaping transformation in Woolton, Liverpool, for two newly built neighbouring properties. The brief was clear — to create a grand shared driveway and matching rear gardens that would reflect the scale and elegance of the homes, while providing stylish and practical outdoor spaces for modern living.
Planning & Preparation
With two properties on the site, the project required careful planning and precise execution. Each element — from the driveway to the gardens — had to complement the symmetry of the homes while also working practically for two households.
The first stage was extensive groundworks and preparation. We cleared the land, brought in tonnes of aggregate, and installed proper foundations and drainage to ensure the surfaces would be long-lasting. During this phase, heavy machinery and skilled teams were on site daily, shaping the structure that would later be brought to life with resin, porcelain paving, and planting.
The Grand Entrance – Shared Resin Driveway & Silver Orb Feature
At the front of the properties, we installed a sweeping shared resin-bound driveway. Resin was chosen for its seamless finish, durability, and elegant appearance. To achieve a crisp look, it was edged with block paving stones and curved planting beds.
The design is anchored by a dramatic silver orb feature, positioned at the very centre of the driveway. Acting as a reflective sculpture, it not only creates a striking focal point but also unifies the two homes with a shared sense of grandeur.
To soften the hard landscaping, we introduced structured planting with evergreen shrubs and slender conifers framing each property’s frontage. The result is a bold yet balanced look, enhancing the architectural symmetry of the houses.
Privacy and security were also important considerations. For this, we installed composite fencing and gates, providing both protection and a contemporary finish that blends seamlessly with the overall design.
Rear Gardens – Twin Outdoor Retreats
The rear gardens for both properties were designed as mirror images, ensuring a consistent and cohesive finish across the development.
The foundation of each garden is a large terrace of quartz white porcelain paving, laid with precision to create crisp lines and a premium, modern feel. Flowing from the paving, we installed luxury artificial lawns, offering vibrant greenery all year round without the maintenance of natural grass.
Around the edges, curved planting beds were created and filled with a mix of shrubs, ornamental trees, and flowering plants. These soften the clean paving lines, adding texture and seasonal interest.
Features for Lifestyle & Luxury
Each garden was designed not only for beauty but also for modern outdoor living, with dedicated spaces for relaxation, entertaining, and family time. Key features include:
Covered pergola dining areas – offering year-round use, these structures provide shade in summer and shelter in cooler months, making them the perfect place to gather with family and friends.
Sunken fire pits with built-in seating – bespoke focal points designed for cosy evenings, adding both warmth and atmosphere to the garden.
Hot tubs – seamlessly integrated into the paved terraces, delivering a spa-like retreat right at home.
Water wall features – each garden includes a striking vertical water wall, where water cascades down like a waterfall. These features reflect light beautifully, echo the reflective silver orb at the front driveway, and add a calming sense of movement and sound to the space.
Sculptural elements – from natural stone boulders to large statement planters, carefully positioned to bring texture, depth, and individuality to the gardens.
Every detail was considered — from discreet outdoor storage solutions to privacy-enhancing boundary planting that frames the gardens and screens them from the outside world. The result is two outdoor retreats that are as practical as they are luxurious, tailored for both everyday living and special occasions.
The Finished Result
After 16 weeks of hard work, the transformation was complete. The two homes now share a grand resin driveway with a silver orb centrepiece, while to the rear, each property enjoys a mirrored garden oasis designed for relaxation, entertaining, and year-round enjoyment.
This project showcases not only the quality of our craftsmanship but also our ability to manage and deliver large-scale, multi-property landscaping schemes. The result is a pair of outdoor spaces that perfectly reflect the luxury and modern design of the homes themselves.
